Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your mobile number, which we verify by one-time password at checkout. This is how we identify your booking and reach you if a court becomes unavailable.
• Your name, and your email address if you give one.
• Your booking history — the venues, courts, sports, times and amounts.
• Basic technical data your browser sends, used to keep the site working and secure.

What we do not collect

We never see your card or bank details. Payment is handled entirely by our payment gateway, Razorpay, on their own systems. Your card number, CVV, UPI PIN and net banking credentials are never transmitted to or stored by Maniac Sportz.

Why we use it

• To create, confirm, modify and cancel your bookings.
• To send you booking confirmations, reminders, and refund updates by SMS.
• To process payments and refunds through our gateway.
• To answer you when you contact support.
• To meet our tax and accounting obligations.

Marketing messages are opt-in

Booking confirmations and refund updates are service messages — you get those because you made a booking. Promotional messages are separate. We send offers and announcements only over the channels you actively tick at checkout. The boxes are never pre-ticked, you can choose SMS, WhatsApp or email independently, and you can withdraw any of them at any time by contacting us.

Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary, and never sell your data:

• Razorpay, our payment gateway, to take payment and issue refunds.
• Our SMS provider, to deliver one-time passwords and booking messages.
• The venue you booked, so they know who is arriving and when.
• Government or law enforcement bodies, where we are legally required to.

If you reach us through a partner booking app rather than this site, that partner operates its own privacy policy over the details you gave them.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal details and retain only the anonymised transaction record we are obliged to keep.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct anything wrong, ask us to delete it, or withdraw marketing consent. Write to khalid.maniacsportz@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and payment happens on the gateway's systems rather than ours. No system is perfectly secure, but keeping card data off our servers entirely removes the most damaging thing an attacker could take.

Changes

If we change this policy materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects how we use your data, tell you directly.
